- A Christmas piece for SATB choir.....
.... which begins with an opening solo (optional) to be played on flute or recorder - a shepherd's pipe melody, as they sit on the hillside watching over their sheep. (This may be optionally played on the piano.) We then join the shepherds in their excited rush to Bethlehem, to see for the infant Jesus.... a joyful and uplifting piece...
